A Brief Overview of My Career and Professional Endeavors

My name is Eugene Mazarakis, and I am 34 years old. I have been working as a Data Analyst and Data Engineer at Performance Technologies since August 2021. Previously, I worked at Wind Hellas as a Data Warehouse Engineer.

I gained skills and experience through challenging projects in the telecom, energy, banking, and betting sectors. I possess a strong foundation in a wide range of technical skills, spanning cloud services, databases, business intelligence, and programming. Experienced with Azure (Data Factory, Synapse), RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and proficient in C, C++, Python, Unix, and Windows.

I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Informatics and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, located in Panepistimioupoli, Ilissia.

A Brief Insight into My Interests

In 2023, I was a candidate for Mayor of Kaisariani with the political group ‘ΝΕΑ ΠΡΟΟΠΤΙΚΗ ΚΑΙΣΑΡΙΑΝΗΣ’. The group had 30 candidates for municipal councilors. It elected one councilor, achieving approximately 10% in the elections. For more updates on the group, you can visit its official Facebook and Instagram pages.

In 2019, I was elected as a Municipal Councilor for the Municipality of Kaisariani. From 2019 to 2023, I served as the IT Consultant for the Municipality. One of the most important projects I implemented in collaboration with the municipal services was the WIFI4EU initiative, which aimed to provide free Wi-Fi connectivity for citizens and visitors in public spaces.
